• Inspire and empower our kids through acts of kindness and the service of others  through various "Caring Missions"
• Raise awareness of the needs in our local community and globally and show kids they can make a difference in the lives of others (at any age)
• Teach kids how to look for  opportunities to help  others and bring joy to people
• Show kids how to use social media in a positive way
• Inspire others kids to do the same

WHAT ARE WE DOING:

• Caring missions we hope to tackle are: 
• Hats, scarves and sleeping bag for the homeless in winter
• Hosting an event for the kids at Sick Children's Hospital
• Shoes for the homeless and kids in women's shelters
• Raising funds/ purchasing food for specific food banks in need
• Delivering needed items to shelters 
• Used bike drive for the kids in the women's shelters
• Global crisis issues

• This is not  supposed to be stressful fundraising where parents need to sell or "do" for their kids - this is a kid driven initiative with very minimal,  achievable financial goals

• KIDS WHO CARE will present a minimum of 3 caring mission per year (members are encouraged to research and present a possible caring mission to the group if they wish)
•  Fundraising success planner to keep kids organized and on track with their goals
• Each member  is asked to set their own monetary goal and raise funds in a creative manner using their talents, passions and ideas - check out our fundraising ideas
• The group goal is to raise a minimum of $2000 per caring mission - here's how you can support your child
• The money is collected by parents and will be sent to the KIDS WHO CARE Go Fund Me page by a certain date (kids will have about 20 days to complete the mission)
• Smaller weekly caring missions will be posted on social media. These smaller missions do not involve raising funds but are simple ways to encourage our members to spread joy  and kindness to others
• Here are some  little extras we offer our members

• Did you know that volunteering and helping others boosts your child's confidence, happiness and health
• Project based fundraising like KIDS WHO CARE puts your kids in the front seat and  provides them with: 
• Critical thinking skills
• Goal setting skills
• Planning and execution skills
• A sense of accomplishment and achieving all while helping humanity

This is an opportunity to teach kids how to use social media platforms in a positive manner and inspire other kids to do the same
